Ziggurat Twilight
Description
Orion rising over the 3200-year old Ziggurat of Choqha Zanbil, a World Heritage Site in southwest Iran. Ancient Mesopotamian astronomers observed the night sky from atop these ziggurats. Choqha Zanbil’s ziggurat is considered to be the best preserved in the world.
