Zagros Sunrise

First rays of the sun shine on high-altitude peaks of Zagros Mountains in Iran, above the valleys hidden by the morning mist. The highest peak in this view is the top of Karkas Mountains at about 3900 m and at the eastern end of Zagros, bordering Iran central desert. © Oshin Zakarian
