Description

The young crescent moon (30 hours old) appears over the castle and cathedral of Veszprem in Hungary. While only a small percentage of the lunar disk appeared directly sunlit, the rest of the Earth-facing moon is in the shadow of night but it’s softly illuminated by the Earth (known as the Earthshine).
