Winter Triangle
Description
Stars of the Winter Triangle shine over the trees of Bakony Mountains in Hungary. Winter Triangle is a asterism (an eye-catching pattern of stars visible to the naked-eye, as a part one or several constellation, but not an official constellation itself). The tree bright stars which make the Winter Triangle are Sirius (lower in the image), Procyon (left) and Betelgeuse (top). Betelgeuse is easy to locate, being a shoulder of constellation Orion which is completely visible at upper right of this image. © Tamas Ladanyi
