The Volcano Twilight

The end of a winter night on the slopes of Mount Damavand, the highest volcano in Asia, rising to an altitude of 5610 meters. Located in the Alborz range of Iran close to the capitol of Tehran, the volcano has been dormant for many thousands of years. In 2007, however, warning signs have appeared indicating Damavand’s long sleep may be coming to an end.
