Standing at the top of 3600-meter Mount Gargash under starry sky of the Zagros Mountains, TWAN photographer feels like exploring a new planet. Located not far from the town of Kashan, Mount Gargash has exceptional seeing and atmospheric transparency for astronomical observations and the climate and seeing at the peak are monitored by Iran National Observatory project. © Oshin Zakarian
