Description

One of the most notable and easily revealed deep sky objects to unaided eyes is the Pleiades star cluster, also known as the Seven Sisters or M45. Here it is photographed in the morning sky of Mauna Kea observatory, Hawaii, framed by the 8.2m Subaru telescope. Subaru is the Japanese term for Pleiades.
