Stars and Aurora above Sugar Lake

As seen on the National Geographic News in a clear summer night of Sugar Lake in the British Columbia, Canada, stars trail around the north celestial pole near the direction of star Polaris (top left). The northern horizon is painted in green by the northern lights or Aurora Borealis.
