Turn on your speakers and enjoy this 8-minute film of stunning time-lapse videos made under starry sky of European Southern Observatory on Cerro Paranal, Chile. Paranal is one of the world’s best sites for astronomical observations and the location for the Very Large Telescope array. The four 8-meter diameter telescopes of the VLT are exploring the cosmos during the scenes of this film. The footage is taken by TWAN member Stephane Guisard and Jose Francisco Salgado. The music is “We Happy Few” by The Calm Blue Sea band. The film is edited and presented on YouTube by Nicolas Bustos.
