Sky During a Lunar Eclipse ᐉ

Time-lapse video: In 2010, on the night of winter solstice in the northern hemisphere (Dec. 20/21), a total lunar eclipse took place. Here TWAN photographer has captured the eclipse by a sequence of digital images which are made in to this time-lapse video. Note how the bright Full Moon gradually turns in to a red disc during the total eclipse, as seen above snow-covered landscape of Yellowknife in northern Canada.
