Description

This film photograph has captured a moonlit night of Lake Sevan in Armenia. The rotation of the sky (caused by the rotation of the Earth) during one hour made startrail around the north celestial pole, where the North Star or Polaris is located. Rest under the rotating sky is Sevanavank or the monastery of Sevan, built in the 9th century above a hill overlooks the lake.
