Red Northern Lights

Following a solar storm that reached the Earth magnetic field, aurora borealis filled the night sky over the northern Canada, near the town of Yellowknife, known as an aurora watching destination. Click the second photo to see an aurora corona (crown) forming overhead in the same night.
