Orion Trails Above Himalaya

When fog goes down in the World Heritage Sagarmatha National Park of Nepal, spectacular view of Himalayas appears under the starry sky. In this long exposure image stars of the prominent constellation Orion are rising above Mount Thamserku (6623m), illuminated by the moonlight from the other horizon. Sagarmatha National Park contains a magnificent part of Himalayas and the southern half of Mount Everest.
