Mount Teide Night Exposure
Description
Time-exposure image of star trails around the North Celestial Pole over Mount Teide volcano on the island of Tenerife, Canaries. The landscape of the Teide National Park, a World Heritage Site, is illuminated by the moon and a red flashlight of a walking hiker appears in the valley. The Pico del Teide is a 500,000 years old volcano, 3718 m high which makes it the highest in Spain. It is approximately 7500 m above the floor of the Atlantic Ocean which makes Teide the highest point on this Ocean.
