Description

The Moon meets with Venus over the World Heritage heart of Trier, Germany. To the upper left of the celestial pair is planet Jupiter, another bright point in this urban sky. carefully looking in the sky some of the stars in the winter constellation of Taurus, Orion, and Canis Major are also visible in this short exposure. Rests on the banks of the Moselle river, Trier is the oldest city in Germany, founded about 2000 years ago in the Roman era. The photographed monument is the Porta Nigra (Latin for black gate), a large Roman city gate which is the symbol of Trier ancient heritages. During the 6-second exposure trace of two passing bikes with red lights are also recorded in the image.
