Meteor Above the Canada's Highest Town
Description
A bright meteor of the 2009 Perseid meteor shower graze the starry sky of Banff; a town in the World Heritage Banff National Park, in Alberta’s Rockies, Canada. At 1,463 m (4,800 ft), Banff is the town with the highest elevation in Canada. It is surrounded by mountains, notably Mount Rundle overlooking the town (on the image’s left).
