Jupiter Corona

A skywatcher uses a small pair of binocular to look closer at a colorful corona around bright planet Jupiter among stars of the constellation Pisces. A corona may be seen when thin clouds partially veil the sun or moon. It is less common to see the corona around other objects such as bright planets Venus or Jupiter. Coronae are produced by the diffraction of light by tiny cloud droplets or sometimes small ice crystals.
