Glowing Ocean

Tiny single celled marine micro-organisms Noctiluca scintilantis use a chemical reaction to produce electric blue glow under the starry Australian sky. Constellation Orion, Aldebaran and bright planet Jupiter are prominent in the sky above the coastline at southeastern Australia.
