Description

A meteor of Geminid meteor shower crossed the constellation of Perseus (close to the erupted Comet Holmes). A similar celestial scene, might be viewed by those people of ancient Persia who had lived in this 2000-year old ruin above Mount Khajeh; a flat-topped hill rising up as an island in the middle of Lake Hamun, in the Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan, near the border of Afghanistan. According to Zoroastrian legend, Lake Hamun is the keeper of Zoroaster’s seed.
