Observing comet PanSTARRS (C/2011 L4) in the evening twilight of Hungary. Click on the second photo to see a slightly different photo of this scene. From the photographer: “This self-portrait telephoto image is from calvary of Veszpremfajsz in the area of Lake Balaton. I was using my old Telementor Zeiss refractor telescope. The atmosphere was very clear after a cold front. The comet was easily visible also with unaided eyes.”
