Comet ISON Rising ᐉ

As seen on Astronomy Picture of the Day, Comet ISON (C/2012 S1) appears in the morning twilight, on its way to the Sun, only few days before reaching within a solar diameter of the Sun’s surface (on 2013 Nov. 28). Pictured in this short timelapse video, Comet ISON was captured rising over Gran Canaria Island, photographed with a telephoto lens from the Teide Observatory on Tenerife.
