Black & White Rocks

In this long-exposure image on film the rotation of the Earth caused stars to trail westward, as captured above bizarre rock formations in the suburbs of Mahneshan (Maah-Neshaan) in Zanjan, Iran. This place was an old mine dating back to the Second World War period.
