Aurora and the Dippers
Description
Moonlight shining on freshly fallen snow creates a magical “Christmas Card” scene, especially with the northern lights dancing in the sky. High in the sky shine the two stellar icons of the northern sky: the Big and Little Dippers. Polaris is the bright star that marks the “handle” of the Little Dipper, and can be found by tracing a line from the Big Dipper’s “pointer” stars.
