Venus From the Top of Hawaii

The break of dawn photographed from the 4,200 meter high volcanic summit of Mauna Kea, Hawaii, a site for a major observatory. Venus is a dazzling “morning star” in this view, surrounded by the fading zodiacal light. In the upper left is the Andromeda Galaxy (M31).
