Triple Conjunction

In this telephoto view planets, Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury, form a beautiful triple conjunction in the western horizon of Saarland, Germany, at the common border with France and Luxembourg. In the foreground is one of the “Steine an der Grenze” or “stones at the border”. They are artistic sculptures placed here at the Germany-France-Luxembourg meeting point for an international project. © Gernot Meiser
