Three Storied Pagoda

Star trails above Nartia, Japan. This three storied 25-meter high pagoda was built in 1712. This ancient distinctive “high rise” is built according to traditional design practices. The design allows the pagodas to withstand earthquakes, and is a beautiful form. © Neelam & Ajay Talwar
