Description

Multiple exposure image. The Milky Way core was rising beautifully above the island of Menorca (Minroca), Spain. In the evening, while scouting with my Photopills app, I thought this spot would be a nice location to take a few starry pictures. The large boulders stood out from the rest of the landscape near the ocean. Once it got dark, we could see the glow from Mahon in the distance but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the night sky view. I managed to grab several frames to stack while giving a helping hand to a few new nightscape photographers around me.

Details: Canon 6d, iso 6400, Sigma 50mm, f1.4. Stack of 6 frames, each 13sec (90sec total) for the sky (2 panels) and 2×30 second frames on the land, stacked for focus. Lr, Ps, Sequator, PTGui.
