From the photographer: “Tajinaste plants are justifiably a fascinating photo subject for everyone who intentionally or accidentally discovers one of their rare locations limited to high altitudes of Tenerife and La Palma only. Personally, It took me quiet some years and a handful of lockdown & social distancing to realize my love for wild places and natures special features like these incredible plants, but since it slaps, I am continuously looking forward to nocturnal excursion – especially in spring – the best time to spend a night in a field of blooming Tajinastes – a perfect opportunity for a smooth star trail image. In conclusion it was one of my top five nights of photography since I was incredibly excited and enchanted by these giant plants and extraterrestrial location.”
