Description

From the photographer: “Etna eruption, captured from Fornazzo, a hamlet of Milo (CT). After nearly 28 years, the northeast crater awakens, displaying Strombolian-like activity. A white-capped Etna, illuminated by the moon high in the sky, stands out in all its majesty as the crater erupts; thousands of stars seem to streak across it as they pass.”
