Description

This northern hemisphere summer view of our home galaxy, the Milky Way, extends from the constellations Scorpius and Sagittarius at the lower right to the three bright stars of the Summer Triangle near the top. The image is made from forest at the slopes of Mount Uludag, near Bursa, Turkey.

    Thanks Matt. This panorama is a 2×3 matrix of 6 individual pictures. Each of the six are 25-second exposures with a Hutech modified Canon EOS 5D at ISO 1600 and through a 24 mm f/1.4 lens at f/2.5.
