Description

In this January evening of northeastern United States, the International Space Station crosses the sky and pass between the Moon and Jupiter. The digital image is made of several multi-second exposures one after the other with only a second between each shot, which caused the gaps in the trail of the fast moving ISS. The space station, home to minimum 3 astronauts at any time, is located at about 350 km above the ground, orbiting our planet each 90 minutes at speed of about 28,000 km/h. © Dennis di Cicco
