Solar Eclipse Over Sierra Aizkorri

The Aizkorri range in the Basque Country during the total solar eclipse of August 12. The 1,360-meter-high Artzanburu (“Bear’s Head”) offers a view across the mountains, revealing few traces of civilization. Due to its location on the northern edge of the path of totality, the umbra stands out relatively clearly against the sky and is even faintly visible in the haze over the landscape.
