Smartphone Aurora in Motion ᐉ

Most TWAN imagery are made with DSLR cameras but this is an exception! TWAN-Korea photographer, Kwon O Chul made these timelapse videos with an LG G pro 2 cellphone, placed on a tripod for multi-second exposures. From the photographer: “This was a part of a timelapse project for LG to show low-light imaging capability of the smartphone camera. However I had to stay out and touch the phone for each shot (of several thousands in total) at -38 degree C temperature of Yellowknife, northern Canada! © Kwon O Chul
