Orion Above Dourdouvana Summit

From the photographer: “After a day of joyful moments with friends and lots of driving, I decided to spend the night at Lake Doxa. I arrived at early afternoon and had the opportunity to find a good spot to set up my tent. Due to the heavy storms and snowfall of the past weeks, there was a lot of water coming down from the mountains.

The snow covered Dourdouvana peak is always a good reason to stay out during night, even if you are going to freeze (kidding). Just after the moon was hidden behind the horizon I grabbed my camera and framed my shot; the snow covered peak of Dourdouvana and Orion.”
