Description

An extremely lucky meteor photo is captured through a natural arch in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, southern Utah. Added by the photographer: “I was deep in remote Utah’s Escalante national monument territory at Devil’s Garden. I thought I would test out the capabilities of my new Canon 6D camera. So I took a single one second exposure at its maximum stretched ISO of 25400. I normally shoot only 1600-3200 at night but had to test this. And within one second exposure captured this meteor right in the center and next to the North America Nebulae in Cygnus!”
