Description

Light from towns in southern France illuminates the passing clouds as seen from Pic du Midi Observatory located at altitude of 2877 meters of Pyrenees mountains in southern France, accessible only by a cable car. Construction of the observatory began in 1878 and still scientifically active today with advanced equipment.
