Description

From the photographer: “Just a year ago, comet C/2023 A3 was the highlight of autumn 2024. Recently, comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) has captured everyone’s attention in the evening western skies. Although it didn’t reach the brightness of a naked-eye visible celestial object (recorded on October 18, 2025, with a magnitude of around 4), it was quite easy to spot and photograph through a camera lens.

Over the weekend, we headed to the western part of the Peloponnese to get an unobstructed view of the sky. Cloud coverage turned out to be a major challenge, but we were lucky enough to see the comet for nearly an hour during twilight. Light pollution and high humidity from the sea made the viewing conditions tricky, yet the frame I had envisioned came out beautifully.”
