Mount Palomar Halo

A complete 22-degree atmospheric halo around the sun. As noted by the photographer “As I was photographing the dome of the famous 200-inch Hale telescope, I spotted an arc of this solar halo at the edge of the camera’s viewfinder! Recomposing the shot to include most of the halo gave this result”.
