Monument Rocks and Star Trails

Northern stars trail above the fabulous Monument Rocks in Kansas, USA. As noted by the photographer “The evening of my first visit to Monument Rocks National Natural Landmark was crystal clear, and this was one of several images I made. This site in western Kansas looks as though it were transported from somewhere in Utah! The presence of these “Chalk Pyramids” is overwhelming. The trailed constellation of Cassiopeia can be seen in the Keyhole Arch”.
