Milky Way from Toros Mountains

The brightest region of the Milky Way in the constellations Scorpius and Sagittarius appears in the starry sky of Toros Mountains, near Kas in southern Turkey. Bright planet Jupiter is evident on the left. As noted by the photographer “The sky was quite sharp above the local light pollution in the horizon. I was on the 2080 meter Gedikbasi peak.”
