Description

From the photographer: “Exploring the dark skies in the Rainbow Valley near San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. This was another night where I didn’t move around too much because I was out of breath quickly just by walking on the slightly hilly terrain. At night the effects from the altitude over 10000ft feel a bit worse compared to the day but each time I visit these amazing places I can handel it better and better. This picture doesn’t do the scenery justice btw during the day the colours pop out much more. Perhaps a blue hour blend would have been good to do in hind sight.”

Technical details: Multi frame panorama, 24mm sigma lens @ f 1.4. iso 6400 on a modified Canon r6.

No light painting or stacking, just singles turned in a pano with ptgui. Edited in LRand PS.
