Milky Way and Devasthal Optical Telescope

Atop the 2540 meters high Devasthal Peak in Uttarakhand, northern India, the largest telescope in the country (3.6m aperture) will soon open her eyes. The site has been nicknamed as DOT, or Devasthal Optical Telescope. This morning twilight view has captured the Milky Way over the DOT construction.
