Lunar Eclipse
Description
From the photographer: “On the 7th of September, we found ourselves on Mount Taygetus. We arrived at the mountain refuge late in the evening, and we set up our tent just before the moon began to rise. The weather forecast was not that promising for a clear view towards the east; however, things were getting better and better as we were heading closer to the phase of the total lunar eclipse.
We quickly started setting up our gear and preparing to capture this astronomical event. I had visualized the shot the previous days: a sequence of the phases of the lunar eclipse, and for this reason I decided to frame my shot using a lens with a 35mm focal length to have enough space in my foreground as well as in the sky. It came out beautifully.”
