Description

In a summer night of Utah the Milky Way brightest region in the constellations Scorpius and Sagittarius appear over the Goblin Valley State Park. On the right are the Little and Big Dipper (asterisms in Ursa Major and Ursa Minor). Bright star Arcturus roars the middle of the image and below is near the horizon is planet Saturn. Green airglow (natural emission of the Earth upper atmosphere) is scattered along the horizon.
