Description

From the photographer: “The blackthorn is protected in Germany. The five-petaled white flowers are an important source of nectar in spring, attracting bees, bumblebees and butterflies such as the lemon butterfly and the peacock butterfly. The blackthorn is also considered a typical butterfly bush. On this evening in March, this blackthorn is in full bloom in the moonlight. In the sky, the winter constellations take their leave as star trails.”
