Desert Rainbow
Description
Think of glorious desert rainbows and many of us conjure up images of welcome summertime thunderstorms. This magnificent arc of color, however, appeared unexpectedly in Southern California’s Anza-Borrego Desert for only a short time on the morning of October 20, 2004. Fortunately it lasted long enough to shoot this panoramic photo.
