Description

On 2003 May 31, an annular eclipse of the Sun happened in northern Scotland, Iceland and portions of Greenland. But the partial eclipse was visible within the much broader path of the Moon’s penumbral shadow, includes most of Europe and the Middle East as well as from central and northern Asia. The photographer of the above image captured the rising deeply eclipsed sun from Austria.
