Description

From the photographer: “Recently I found myself spending some quality time with my family in my hometown. Despite the weather conditions of the previous weeks, during this weekend the weather was great and was the ideal chance to capture some images of the crescent moon that was rising during dawn.

Without second thoughts, I grabbed my tripod and my camera bag and went to the port at 5:30 AM. The view of the moon in combination with the calmness of the sea and the silence of the place was my greatest reward.

Both of the images are single exposures; the first captured during the astronomical twilight and the second during the civil twilight.”
