Description

Crescent Moon and Tsuchinshan-Atlas (C/2023 A3) shine in the east at dawn on 29th September, as seen from Mt. Sandras in southwestern Turkey. A monumental black pine stands against the distant mountains in the east. Thanks to the exceptionally clear skies at this at 1950-meter-high altitude site, the comet’s tail can be traced for several degrees.
