From the photographer: “Crescent Moon and a small church in the Danta di Cadore, Italy; the scene reminded me a lot of the graphics in the Super Mario Bros. video game, with the miniature building on the left and the trees creating a straight line up, as if they were an obstacle to overcome, to the crescent moon.”
